When Sofia finds out that Clover is gone, she takes off on Minimus and Princess Vivian's pet dragon, Crackle, to find Clover and bring him home. Sofia, Cedric and the gang need to stop them before they destroy the school. But whenever Cedric tries to use its power to take over the kingdom, it curses him in a variety of ways. Sofia passes with flying colours and thanks Cedric, who ultimately decides to steal the amulet.

Together, they all have a good time, but Khaldune wins the Golden Chalice instead, and James vows to win next year. While trying to stop Miss Nettle, Sofia is sprayed with the fairy's Crazy Crystals, which causes her amulet to go awry: she can no longer understand animals by translation, and instead of a princess, the snowman is summoned to help her resolve things. However, their carpet goes rogue and crashes them at a marketplace in the middle of the desert instead.
After doing so, Hugo leaves for the recital with Sofia. The children hatch a plot to grow many Laughing Lillies, which when sprayed on Miss Nettle, makes her convulse with laughter and drop the spellbook. Unfortunately, taking the amulet and betraying Sofia both count as a bad deed, so it bestows a curse on Amber by summoning the venomous Princess Ivy, an exiled evil princess who plans to usurp the throne and turn all Enchancia black and white. Sofia asks Lucinda, whether she can cast a spell so that she and her mother can be alone, but it ends in disaster, when Lucinda's mother starts hexing them. Without it, he can't perform the counterspell, and Mia, Robin and Clover try to help Cedric find it per Sofia's request. Clover gradually begins to understand that he had taken his leisurely life for granted. Amber soon finds James' birthday present for her: a locket with a drawing of both of them, which touches Amber as he knows how much she loves lockets and tiaras.
Synopsis: Grace has stage fright and she went to an art gallery school. Soon however, Sofia finds out Miss Nettle's true intentions to get her hands on the headmistresses' spellbook and use it to become the most powerful fairy in the world, trapping her former mistresses in a bubble and stealing their wands. Present-day rule decrees that trolls must stay forever in their cave while humans stay up on land, but Sofia decides to go see for herself after her kite makes it back to her, and fixed too. Sofia promises to make her family move the ship after admitting her identity to the Queen, who orders her never to come back. Higgins she had been helping to be Fauna in disguise.
Their luggage falls out along the way to see flying elephants, and their guide Fabulous Freddy sends a note saying he's sick. Thankfully, James doesn't remember anything and their parents return afterwards without ever knowing the truth. Lucinda uses magic to fix everything just in time, and they celebrate Jade's birthday together with Ruby, Sofia and the rest of the village children. The girls and the carpet seek directions from a fortune-teller who tells them to go south to the Hanging Gardens, past a stand that sells kebabs, and finally to follow the Elephant River until it meets the mountain to get to Tangu Peak. But James keeps acting before he thinks and ends up making the mission tougher than it already is.
Sofia has so much fun that she cannot decide what school to attend, which leads Amber and the others to put pressure on her. Determined to be perfect like her mother, who was a prima ballerina when she was a student at Royal Prep, Kari strives for perfection in dancing. But what happens when Baileywick gets a horrible case of Meddlesome Myrtle? Thanks to Sofia's athletic prowess, James is making more progress than the years past. While playing pirate on James' treehouse, the mast of the ship breaks, and Baileywick returns per James' calling to fix it up, missing his ride to the apple orchard. But Princess Hildegard tells Sofia that King Roland isn't her real father, which hurts her feelings. Meanwhile, Cedric competes with King Magnus's Sorcerer in entertaining the other children.
