Thankfully I wasn't disappointed,while he had his sweet moments he was still the sexy, cunning, badass Breed that interested me so many years ago. Breed world just does not seem very dangerous anymore. And when the crucial time arrived, she trusted him. If you have not read the other books in this series you maybe a little confused on the other characters and their stories but it can be read as a stand alone but I would suggest reading the other books in this series since all of them are intertwined with each other. Can they compromise with each other to find their way? This book is packed full with action, suspense and passion.
They definitely have sparks and I liked her character as well. I'm not going to tell you who the main Yes, the wait is over my friends. That said, this is one of the few series that I keep reading with pleasure and expectations. After Bengal's Quest, which was a complete mess, this one has a strong, nice story that reminded me of the good old Breeds' stories. And, being that I pretty much stopped reading the most recent releases from this series - I felt like they were starting to be 20% repetitive story line and 80% repetitive sex - my expectations for this book were. Wake a Sleeping Tiger has renewed my interest in the Breeds series. I need to confess, I read the beginning novels a few times over, up to Megan's Mark, and read the previous release.
The story builds and builds till the end with a fantastic ending. Their romance was filled with the usual need for male sexual dominance, but Dog recognizes that Cassie is a true alpha and respects her intelligence and intuition. If you're following the series, Lora Leigh announced that Cassie's book is next! She is a hybrid, unique, and many fear her and her gifts. Lora Leigh is a New York Times bestselling author of erotic romance novels. Chelsea Martinez is Cullen's assistant and covert agent for the agency. Like a party that everyone is invited. I enjoyed the characters and they were very well written.
This author just keeps getting better and better the more I read, cant wait for more from this author in the future. The price is definitely a factor but I'm not suggesting it's too pricey or out of the norm for this author's work. My aunt referred me to them n t days later I bought four more after the first3 feline breeds. Come on, let me take you to your momma. And from the way things ended at least two more books are coming.

I collected them in paperbacks and ebooks until the quality degenerated and I quit the series. I cant wait for book 3 to be released I really need to know what happens next with these characters. I was left wanting and needing more. I highly recommend to fans of the series.

Things just didn't quite come together for me. I love all the twists and turns within the story. I totally appreciated the adult content scenes though I can't say I didn't want more. It had new twists and turns that added suspense to the story and kept me flipping the pages. This book is very realistic but can be heart breaking in places. I collected them in paperbacks and ebooks until the quality degenerated and I quit the series.
I am now more that ever anxiously awaiting Cassie's book and the identity of her mate,is it someone we know,or is it someone else totally new,but always lingering in the background. There are battles yet to come for not just you and Dog, but for all Breeds. I recommend reading them in order to follow the series storyline, but each book can be read as a standalone. Not Dane - I want a playboy, millionaire, James Bond story. At the same time I was smacking myself that I didn't figure it out. It doesn't always work out. She made her tough and even-keeled and didn't have her character suddenly go sideways.
